I often flip through the various music channels on TV while waiting for commercials to do their thing, and came upon a video from C&C Music Factory (remember them?) on MuchMoreRetro yesterday. (Never mind that a musical act from my formative years can now be called ‘retro’. I’ll be retro myself soon enough. Frig.)
Anyway, given how crap I figured C&C to be when they were new and popular, I thought, hey, I’ll give this a minute, see if my years of maturity and a more broad musical taste will allow me to appreciate this just a little bit more. See if I can figure out what I was missing, you know?
But it was still crap.
So, the moral of the story is that if you thought something sucked at age 14, you were probably right.
