Did you know that water polo is the oldest continuous Olympic sport? This fun maybe-fact-because-I-saw-it-on-the-internet is brought to you today by Wikipedia and the woman I saw outside of the Purolator shipping depot earlier today, loading two large boxes marked (and presumably full of) ‘water polo balls’ into the trunk of her car.
I would have thought that that was kind of weird, but I just happen to know that a water polo tournament is happening at Carleton University this weekend, screwing up my plans for a swim next Saturday. Damned professionals and their organized sporting events!
Should have shouted obscenities at that woman when I had the chance, now that I think about it.
