I don’t really understand people sometimes.
I stumbled across a ‘network’ of weblog-related sites yesterday, and wrote the owner of the network, offering to contribute to one of the more interesting projects. I told him that, you know, I kind of have been doing the same thing myself, with a bunch of websites that are just sitting out there earning me ad money, and maybe we could talk and stuff, see whether business could be done.
What response do I receive? Hi, yeah, I’m too busy right now, e-mail me in a month.
I mean, come on. You’re building a business, and someone offers to help, and you blow them off with a two-sentence e-mail? And not even a proper ‘I’m not interested’, which would be fine, but a ‘not right now’? Dude.
So, forget that. I’ll play in my own sandbox and secretly hope his whole thing withers and dies. Happy holidays!
