proud to drink in celebration of stuff
As friends will be around the house tomorrow to provide watch for my kid, I’ve been given the opportunity to break free and enjoy the nation’s capital on it’s big day.
Always one to party hard, this means I’ll be hanging around with other family, who will probably just talk about how hot it’s been and how terrible the crowds will be on the Hill. I’m considering joining that particular crowd for the musical performances, as both Sam Roberts and Kathleen Edwards are expected to perform. I’ll have to endure a set by that Goldilocks girl who won Canadian Idol in the meantime, but I’ll manage OK.
If there’s any other exciting events going on that I don’t know about, it is of course your duty as A1 people to inform me below. Chop chop.
